Sec 4D Mathematics

Created on 9 May 2003

When this page was created, I hope with all my soul that it shall never be used.
This seems like good news to all you students "under my wings".
But as you are reading this, its probably because there is a need for you to study and I to work from home......and battle this next episode on SARS.
Do look on the bright side, its alot of freedom for you and only your independent, determined and focused state of mind can keep you reading on. More importantly you need to put in your maximum effort to do these assignments as its the most worthy thing you can do in your capacity as a student.
So get going, right now!

The following links and pages are to guide you towards achieving the expectations I have set out.
You may check with your friends or contact me, if you are not clear of anything.
Do not claim ignorance, as it will only act against you.

First "right-click" and save the files below.

Elementary Maths filename:

EM_4D_NA_2003.doc Sine/Cosine Rules
Statistics
Rate of Change(DT and ST)
Transformation
Additional Maths filename:
AM_4D_NA_2003.doc Sec 3 and 4 NA topics

(Materials are partially extracted from SNP Pan Pacific Publishing Pte Ltd, Exploring Mathematics
Secondary Four Normal)

Next, print out the worksheet and put it beside your computer. You may want to use the computer to review the websites recommended before starting on the worksheet.

Once you understand the topics under review, you can take the worksheet as a quiz to check how good you are in that topic. Follow the instructions on the worksheet and attempt all questions.

If you are unable to solve any question, note down the problems or weaknesses you face. You may want to email me or call your friends to get hints.
Better yet, you can post it on a Class Discussion Forum(CDF) that I have start for you.
But if all else is not working, we can discuss it when we get back to school but it just means you need to catch up on lost time.
